FDD, or the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, performs advocacy and research on topics as such as economics, and social policy. It is a neoconservative group with Clifford May as its president. It was first founded in 2001. It deals with foreign policy and national security and it has conducted research on the situation going on in Syria and Iran. Mark Dubowitz, who is FDD’s executive director, plans on educating people about the things going on in Iran, as that is currently the country being watched by almost everyone around the world.
The executive director was actually against the nuclear diplomacy proposed by Obama in 2015, and ever since then, he has gone on to talk before the public about this issue in many occasions, such as the Senate Banking Committee, Housing, Banking, and Urban Affairs Committee of the Senate, and the Foreign Relations Committee of the Senate. Aside from this, Dubowitz also has degrees on law and International public policy and is currently a lecturer at University of Toronto. There, he also conducts research on sanctions, Iran’s nuclear program, and on international relations.

Name tags are of utmost importance no matter which business or organization it is that you’re talking about. Take Mark Dubowitz, for instance, he has different name tags for the different official places that he appears in. While in FDD, he would most probably have a name tag that certifies that he is the executive director, while in the Senate, he would have had name tags which would help the politically important figures determine his identity.
Just like that, every other person in FDD also wears a name tag as well as other people in the senate, so that people would be able to know them at a glance and so that the hierarchy of the organization is completely transparent. Not only does this make communication smoother within the different branches of people within the organization, it also makes things smoother for people outside the organization, as they will now be able to recognize the person and know who to approach in case they’re in need of assistance.
This is especially true of the clients that the organization has to deal with, since people who deal with the organization from the outside will not know all the employees by their names and may mistake one person for another. In order to make the organizational hierarchy a lot smoother and more efficient, it would be a better idea to mention the person’s name as well as their position in the company in their name tags. That way, there would be no scope of errors.
Additionally, in a case of emergency, one would be able to recognize his/her teammates and colleagues and will be able to proceed quickly and smoothly, as otherwise, emergencies could quickly turn ugly and into utter chaos, even if the situation wasn’t as dire before.
